Depart U.S., overnight on plane.
May 17, Saturday
Lima – Cuzco
Arrive Lima early a.m.; depart Lima for Cuzco.
Our extraordinary “spiritual” guide Abelardo, will
meet our group at the Cuzco Airport and provide
transport to Picoaga Hotel.
Cuzco is known as the “navel of the world” and this is
where we’ll begin our healing journey. After some personal time
adjusting to this newly elevated climate and
lunch on your own, you will spend the afternoon visiting historic
Cuzco including the church of Santa Domingo/Korichancha and the artist
colony of San Blas. Group welcome dinner, Jose Antonio Restaurant,
Overnight Picoaga Hotel. (D)
May 18, Sunday Cuzco
Morning trip by bus to the high-elevation of
Chinchero (elevation 12,000 feet) to visit
the native market and see the weavers. Lunch on your own. Afternoon tour
of the towering fortress, Sacsayhuaman, the ruins of K’enko and the
Temple of the Moon, where you will be treated to your own private concert
of traditional Andean music. Dinner at Tunupa

May 19, Monday Cuzco – Sacred
Valley
Morning bus travel to the Sacred Valley of the
Incas, a verdantly lush and tranquil setting
where we’ll explore
and hike through the amazing Salt Mines of
Maras to our exquisite lunch setting at a former monastery for our lunch by
the Urubamba River. Overnight, Casona de Yucay. (B, L, D)
May 20, Tuesday Sacred Valley
In the morning we’ll be offering our Service Project to share,
learn and contribute to the Quechua people of
the Sacred Valley, the closest living descendents of the ancient Incas. In
the afternoon we will have the gift of a Quechua shaman who will guide us invite
us to join him in the offering of the Pachamama
Ceremony, a blessing to Mother Earth, at the Inca Temple of Pomatales. Overnight,

May 21, Wednesday
Sacred Valley – Machu
Picchu
Early morning bus to Ollantaytambo to visit the
famous ruins there, where Inca warriors turned
back the Spanish conquerors. From there we take the train to Aguas Calientes,
the town at the base of the mountain below Machu Picchu. After checking
in to our hotel, the 5-star Machu Picchu Pueblo
and lunch on own we’ll meet for our afternoon bus to Machu Picchu for
a guided tour by Abelardo. Late afternoon bus back to Aguas Calientes. Dinner
on your own. Overnight, Machu Picchu Pueblo

May 22, Thursday Machu Picchu
A day of exploration at the ruins. Optional hike
to the Sun Gate, to the top of Huayna Picchu or to the hidden beauty
of the Temple of the Moon. You may also choose to stay and explore
Aguas Calientes. In the evening, relax in the famous thermal pools
that give this charming village its name. Overnight, Machu Picchu

May 23, Friday Aguas
Calientes – Cuzco
Group process and sharing with Eddie, exploring
images, dreams and insights from your experience on your Andean
adventure. Free time for shopping and visiting. Afternoon train
to Cuzco. Group farewell dinner. Overnight, Picoaga Hotel. (B, D)
May 24, Saturday
Cuzco – Lima
Early morning transfer to airport for our flight
to Lima. Our Lima guide will meet the group
at the airport for transfer to Hotel Jose Antonio in Miraflores (day
room only). Afternoon: (optional or personal shopping and exploring
on your own). Late evening transfer to airport for international
