Greetings — Jan. 2012

I was born in the southern U.S. during severe segregation. These were tough times because many adults held steadfast to the old paradigms of keeping things just as they were.

As national law moved our nation into integration, things slowly changed for the better. While some people struggled with this transition I imagined all nationalities living together in harmony. In the seventh grade, I popped an eight-track-tape into our stereo and heard Love Train, by the O'Jays!

After a few beats I danced around pretending I was on Soul Train and American Bandstand. I did this until I was exhausted, then re-clicked the eight-track back to Love Train to memorize the words before I realized that its message personified what I'd imagined.

Today, it reminds me how music has pulled nations out of dark, rough patches. Though it took years, our nation slowly moved forward. Yes we're still growing, but look how far we've come.

In the same way people and communities can be segregated, we separate ourselves from our nonphysical attributes. We get bogged down, forgetting to utilize our soul's qualities. Meaning, we separate ourselves from our unlimited power.

What are soul attributes? They are, intuition, instinct, feelings, love, creativity, imagination, daydreaming and visualizing. Most of us forget our physicality creates .01% of our lives while our soul creates the other 99.99%.

When we're not using our soul's power we're essentially walking in quicksand, attracting negativity and making life harder. When we do use 99.99% of our soul's elements we float easily through life, attracting better situations.

I believe that everyone is connected by an invisible desire to be seen, heard and loved. When we deliberately accept ourselves in a loving way, we're essentially integrating our soul attributes. Doing this creates a brilliant integration of human-soul potential in and around us. Living from this human-soul platform integrates our consciousness with others that are currently riding the Love Train to higher realms of realization, thus creating a lasting, integrated and sincere change.
